STAYING MOTIVATED TO EXERCISE

HOW TO STAY MOTIVATED TO EXERCISE.

Motivation fluctuates. Its not possible to rely on being motivated to exercise. Creating habits which are sustainable is reliable. Making exercise and daily movement a habit, you will be more successful in staying consistent.

You need to work on creating sustainable habits. Look at your schedule, decide how much time you have daily for exercise and movement. Then you have to schedule it in your diary, like you would with an appointment.

Once its done tick it off as DONE, you can keep track of how successful you have been at creating this habit. This way can compare your progress weekly. And strive to beat each week.

Secondly, choose to move or exercise in a way that feels good to you. Exercise doesn’t always mean it has to be done at the gym, with weights or on a treadmill. If you don’t like it, don’t do it. Do what you enjoy, going for a walk in nature or dancing around in your pj’s to your fav tunes is movement too.

Make it fun & sustainable and watch how easily it becomes part of your routine.
