
Ive started something new.
Journaling.
With the extra time, I decided to start something I always have wanted to, but never felt motivated enough to do it as a daily practice due to time constraints and always rushing around to fit everything into the day.

So it took me a few days staring at the blank page, not knowing where to start.
Like what do you write down? To do lists, gratitude lists, what?
So I did some digging, reading, pinterst searches and came up with a layout.
Which may still change as I go, who knows.

So first off I write the date and then doodle the words My Journal at the top of the page. The I write down the following headings.
_ Todays intentions
_ What I want to achieve today (like a to do list)
_ Daily Mantra
_ Gratitude list
_ Some feels
_ Affirmation
And then I fill in whatever comes to mind.
The things that come up have been surprising.
When I feel some doubt, negativity or anything that does not align with my intentions or affirmation in a day. A repeat my mantra to myself. Take a couple deep breaths. And get on with it. I dont know the exact psychology behind it all. But on the few days I’ve done it, I’ve been feeling allot more calm, focused and inspired.
