COMMON Weight Loss Case

WEIGHT LOSS CASE STUDY.
This is a very common scenario 〰️Woman comes in and tells me she has been skipping meals and using diet pills on a regular basis to try loose weight and it is just not working. She has tried all the diets under the sun. Tried to exercise, but it leaves her feeling tired and lacking energy to do anything else. She is fed up, going batshit crazy thanks to cravings and she cant sleep from the diet pills. 🤯

SO WHAT NOW? is there hope?

Yesssss, there is always hope!!

1. YOU NEED TO UNDERSTAND THIS CONCEPT. Skipping meals and using diet pills are not going to equal weight loss, it’s important to take in to account your daily energy input and output. Skipping a meal may lead you to be hungrier later and cause you to overeat, in-taking more calories than you would if you were not as hungry and stuck to your meal times. Skipping meals and restricting too much may also lead to crazy unnecessary cravings. Using diet pills without eating correctly and exercising will not do much for you. A calorie deficit is what you need in order to lose weight successfully.
Creating a calorie deficit through, nutrition, increasing daily movement and exercise is key.

2. TRACKING CALORIES IN VS CALORIES OUT. We need to track the number of calories you’re in-taking and the amount of calories you are burning to determine if there is a true deficit.

If there is a deficit with no weight reduction, we have to ask the following questions?
〰️how compliant and honest are you to your tracking methods
〰️ what is your health like in general?

If you have NOT been compliant with tracking, some basic education here is required by a coach.

If they have been compliant and in a deficit but no progress AND there are some red flags with your health, we need to address the health concerns FIRST.🤯‼️

3. RED FLAGS
🚩lack of energy
🚩irregular menstrual cycle
🚩thinning hair and bad skin
🚩poor sleep
🚩always fatigued and everything feels like a mission to do
🚩low mood
🚩anxiety and stressed out
🚩feels like the body just never recovers after exercise
